TRSTY Advisor

Tess Weiss (she/her) is so excited to join TRS as the Youth Group Advisor! Originally from New Jersey, Tess got her Bachelors in Health, Fitness and Recreation Resources from George Mason University. Upon graduating, Tess pursued her Master’s in Sports Management from St. John’s University in Queens, NY. She then began working for the Garden of Dreams Foundation at Madison Square Garden that provides opportunity to young people in need throughout the NYC area. Looking for a change, Tess has come back to the DMV area and is so excited to be a part of TRSTY and the TRS community. Tess previously has worked at the NJY Camps, served as an intern at the George Mason University Hillel as well as being a participant on the March of the Living through her local JCC and Birthright

Jr. TRSTY Advisor

Emma Davidson

Emma Davidson (she/her) is excited to be this year’s Jr. TRSTY advisor! During the year, Emma is also the Director of Camp Rodef Shalom. She grew up at TRS and even served as the TRSTY Board President. After graduating from Virginia Tech, Emma returned to the area working in the corporate event space, and eventually made her way back to TRS as a full time staff member. When she isn’t running the best day camp in the world, Emma can be found traveling, hanging out with her cat, or jogging.

Lil' TRSTY Advisor

Hannah Piracha

Hannah (she/her) enjoys the great honor of getting to know the young folks at TRS as the Lil’ TRSTY youth advisor and the temple’s Music Educator. Hannah has been songleading and working with youth in the Jewish community since she, herself, was a NFTY member. She received her Bachelor of Science in Religious Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University with minors in Music and Psychology. Hannah is passionate about fostering inclusive, loving, and authentic communities in which people can bloom. Ask her about her favorite bands or her cheese preferences – or tell her something about yourself!
