TRSTY Board

TRSTY Executive Board

President

Noa Glashow

Noa Glashow has been a TRSTY board member since her sophomore year and is excited to continue creating programs, educating Jewish teens and having fun! Last year she was PVP and is now incredibly enthusiastic to have been voted in as President! Education, culture, and connection are extremely important to Noa and she loves to share that with others and have an impact on her community. When she’s not busy enjoying Jewish culture, Noa likes to participate in competitive gymnastics, play tennis and travel with her family!

Junior Youth Group Vice President

Max Steinbaum

Max has been involved with TRSTY since eighth grade and has loved it since. He has held board positions every year he has been able to as well as working at Camp Rodef Shalom for three years now. When he isn't mountain biking or listening to some groovy jams, he's digging his own trails or playing his bass guitar. Max will work to share some of the general TRSTY hype with the next generation of temple youth.

Programming Vice President

Eliana Lotenberg

Eliana has been involved in TRSTY since ninth grade, and is excited to serve as the Programming Vice President this year! Last year, she served as the TRSTY Social Action Chair, and she is excited to continue to inspire others through meaningful programming. Outside of TRS, Eliana has served as a Kol Koleinu fellow, and is a leader and participant in Keshet Shabbatonim. If she’s not at Camp Louise, you can find Eliana at Washington-Liberty High School, usually playing Ultimate Frisbee.

Social Action Vice President

Mia Shenkman

Mia Shenkman was inspired by the motivated teens who led a great event at her first TRSTY event in 8th grade, and has been involved ever since. After being on board as Junior Youth Group Chair for one year, Mia decided she would love to help teens learn about issues in the world and show how they can play a role in their communities, as Social Action Vice President. Mia also plays the trumpet in jazz and marching bands, loves hiking and canoeing any where she can, and is very interested in disability rights as well as food sustainability!

Religious and Cultural Vice President

Emily Simon

This will be Emily’s fourth year as a TRSTY-ite and second year as RCVP, and she is very excited to continue to be on the board. In the spring semester of her sophomore year, she deepened her connection to Judaism by attending URJ Heller High School in Israel. Before she left, though, she was a madricha at TRSRS, and she has been a camp counselor at CRS since she was a rising freshman. When she’s not planning TRSTY events, Emily can be found attending classes at McLean High School, watching the Nationals, and practicing guitar.
